Eva Janssens
Biography
Eva Janssens (1991) studied art history and archaeology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her master’s thesis on the iconography of the Good Shepherd in the sixteenth-century was awarded the De Bock-Doehaerd prize (2013) and the Prix Thierry Stanley Beherman (2014). She currently works as a teaching assistant in art history. Since 2014 she is preparing a PhD-thesis on early modern religious prints in the Low Countries under the supervision of Tine Meganck. As part of her research, she visited several print rooms in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
